We had a fantastic stay at Pool & River Villa in Alcoutim, Portugal. The property is modern, spacious and beautifully presented, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The swimming pool was brilliant, and the BBQ area was a real highlight, providing a great space to enjoy time together and make the most of the lovely surroundings.
Alcoutim is a really special place, nestled on the banks of the beautiful Guadiana River, with stunning views across the water to Sanlúcar in Spain. The village has so much charm and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.
Marisa, our host, was absolutely fantastic. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she looked after us so well during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and hospitality really made our experience extra special.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend Pool & River Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Portugal. We are already looking forward to coming back in April 2027 for the Smugglers Festival!
Thank you, Marisa, for being such a wonderful host. We can't wait to return!
There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay. Everything was fantastic, and we couldn’t fault the property or Marisa’s hospitality. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Adorámos a estadia!
