Hi Inn Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station National Exhibition Center

Pros: * The air conditioning worked perfectly and cooled the room very well. * The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. * The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. * The room had a modern and pleasant interior design. * There were enough power outlets in convenient locations. * The room was equipped with all the necessary furniture. * Complimentary amenities included slippers, two 0.5 L bottles of water, a toothbrush with toothpaste, and a plastic comb.

Cons: * No one helped with carrying our luggage up to the hotel entrance, and the staff did not even offer to bring our suitcases to the room. * The soundproofing is poor. Conversations from neighbouring rooms can be heard very clearly. * The hotel is not well adapted for international travellers. Most of the staff do not speak English. I was unable to use the self-service laundry because my foreign phone number could not be registered through the QR code. The same issue applied to the self-service refrigerator/shop on the ground floor. * The carpet in the corridor looked dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The hallway leading to the rooms also felt dark and gloomy. * Mobile phone reception inside the room was unreliable. The 5G signal frequently disappeared. * Although the room had an electric kettle, there was no complimentary tea or coffee. * The sink is poorly designed. The tap is installed too close to the wall, while the basin does not extend far enough underneath it. As a result, water splashes behind the sink and eventually runs onto the floor. * The shower head holder is fixed and its height cannot be adjusted. The shower area also has no door, so water can easily splash outside.

Amazing, tasty restaurants near the place. The price is good from what I could tell, no way you could get something this clean/professional for so cheap in my country (Italy/Turkey).

The window in my room looked at a wall, I wanted to see some Shanghai scenery, but that's life!
