The location was good and it is probably 2kms from Guindy Metro/Electric train station. It is pretty quiet yet it is next to a main street. There are a few good restaurants within a walkable distance (1 to 1.5km). A few local supermarkets and fresh groceries can be purchased in the main street nearby. The rooms are air conditioned and quite comfortable.
We had an unexpected surprise. We experienced strong rain one evening and despite having all the doors and windows closed, the living room was completely filled with water and all our possessions and clothes got wet since we had our bags on the floor. The host was immediately reachable and they paid for the cleaning. Apparently, it was a plumbing issue and the flat hadn't experienced such strong rains yet. I would be wary of booking this house in the rainy season. The water pressure in the toilets were a bit less according to us and this needs to be improved as well.
