Breakfast was made fresh every single day, with multiple options and even omelettes made to order. Staff was extremely helpful. They came to replenish the water bottles every other day. Someone was always available but they let you enjoy your rest. Located right in the middle of Thousand Lights district (very walkable friendly), which meant that food was available even at 2am. Amazing value

Lovely location, great staff, polite, kind and curtious. Will certainly recommend the place for a comfortable stay in Chennai!
Nothing!

I had a very pleasant stay at The Roost in Nungambakkam. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable.
The staff were professional and courteous throughout. The customer service at the reception was particularly good. A special mention to Purushothaman, the receptionist, who was extremely helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with any queries.
Overall, a great experience with excellent service. I would definitely recommend The Roost to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Nungambakkam.
Was a bit pricey. Could have been better value for money.

The facilities were clean and the location was good. Lots to explore in close vicinity.
While the property appeared new and there was clearly an aesthetic hand at the helm of designing the interiors, The Roost falls short on functionality. The rooms were much smaller than expected, the bathroom fittings uncomfortable, dysfunctional and falling apart, water ran out at one point, regular cleaning was not done (because once the key card was taken out and I left the premises for the day, the "make my room" signage was not visible to the staff.) I do not believe the stay is worth the cost. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the overall experience was below the mark unfortunately.
