I chose the apartment because it was relatively close to 2 groups of friends I was visiting in the area. I appreciated that there was air conditioning in the apartment. Without it I wouldn’t have been able to sleep there and even with it it was a bit difficult as there is no cross-ventilation. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom well-equipped for what I needed, although I only had breakfast there. I was glad to have a parking space on the property and access to the countryside for running among the vineyards and olive trees was lovely.
My arrival seemed to cause some confusion. I had identified an arrival time (16h00-17h00) when asked by booking.com. I was informed that my request had been accepted. The hosts told me they hadn’t known when I was arriving and after we had exchanged some texts and I waited for ~30 minutes they called to tell me how I could get in. We had a conversation about all of this when they arrived at the property a little bit later, as it turned out the apartment is in their house (something I must have missed in the description). They told me that it was unusual that people arrived when they said they would and so they didn’t organise their work day around this information. In short, the communication could have been better in advance. I’m not sure if there was a mis-communication between booking.com and the hosts or what happened exactly, but I have had issues with apartments advertised on booking.com in the past; there often seems to be some gaps in responsibility and communication between the site and the hosts. This all created an uncomfortable start. The ceiling fan in the bedroom didn’t work and with sliding glass doors on only 1 side of the house (no windows) it wasn’t possible to have fresh air circulating in the apartment except early in the morning before the heat of the sun took over.

Eine landschaftlich sehr schöne Lage. Das Appartment befindet sich im Haus der Gastgeber.
Man kann bis direkt ans Haus fahren und parken.
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet
Die Dusche ist für das großzügige Badezimmer klein
