Lovely cottage very quiet peaceful location, plenty of space, kitchen well equipped lovely spacious showers, only comment the bed has an orthopedic mattress it's very hard but a mattress topper is provided if you want a softer mattress. Plenty of onsite parking. Lovely welcome hamper. Definitely recommend.
Will definitely book again when working in the local area.

We absolutely loved the cottage’s freedom, which is right on the banks the River Tame on the outskirts of the village. Everything was very clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. It was super close to nature walks, but there was so much to see right from the door … we even spotted a kingfisher darting up and down the river! Sadly, we didn’t get to use the fire pit on the decking this time due to our Dachshund being poorly. We loved the thoughtful welcome gifts and enjoyed fresh eggs for breakfast. It’s also near Kingsbury water park and the Middleton RSPB Reserve. Just under ten minutes from Coleshill, where you can find loads of food, a supermarket and a bit of history. Plus, there are pubs and even a street food barn (open Thurs - Sun) all within a quick two minute drive down the lovely country lanes. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Driving down with two under 5 can be a bit stressful at times, we were greeted by a warm and homely atmosphere with gentle music playing and a bottle of wine on the side.
The house smelt absolutely divine and so clean and tidy, I was instantly relaxed and couldn't have hoped for a better welcome.
Whole house is open plan over 2 floors, the children loved how spacious it was upstairs and had great fun playing with the equipment in the back garden.
My little boy slept on the fold out single sofa upstairs and the baby was in bed with me. The set up upstairs worked brilliantly and my little boy slept well on the sofa bed. Extra bedding and throws were really useful, everything very well organised.
We had trouble using the electric keypad initially (totally my fault, I used my torch in the end) but did ring the owners. By the time they rang back we had already got in and they were absolutely lovely to speak to and gave me a few tips for using the combi microwave oven as we had bought pizzas. I'd still recommend hob friendly meals if you were thinking of cooking but perhaps that's just becuase I'm not used to using those types of ovens. There were enough pans, mugs, knives and forks and even a few plastic plates and cups for the kids. We also really appreciated the coffee machine.
Absolutely perfect for a 3 night stay visiting Drayton Manor and Statfold Country Park. Would absolutely stay again. Totally workable for a family, could not be more perfect for a couple.
Minor points and not relevant if travelling without kids.
Not totally clear on pictures but the swing chair and fire pit are a little walk on from the front of the house, our child monitor signal might have reached but it was too far for us personally to feel comfortable leaving our little ones asleep to go and sit at so we didn't get to go down there.
My husband is built like a rugby player and was on the double fold out sofa bed downstairs which was uncomfortable for him as the bars were across his shoulder blades and his shins. Small and light you'd probably be fine, we did bring our double air bed just in case as we weren't totally sure how sleeping arrangements would work out with the kids and there was plenty of room for it.
