We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location and the stunning views. The residence has a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere and is beautifully maintained. The swimming pool with its vintage parasols looks picture-perfect.
The apartment itself is warm and cosy, and equipped with all the comforts you could need. For anyone looking for a peaceful stay while still being close to Como, we would definitely recommend this place.
The residence is largely occupied by owners who tend to keep to themselves and, whether intentionally or not, give the impression that “tourists” are not particularly welcome. The many strict and sometimes unnecessary house rules only reinforce this feeling. A genuine sense of hospitality seems to be somewhat lacking.
Moreover, on two occasions we had an unpleasant encounter with the unfriendly and rather rude gardener, who seems to follow you around like a shadow, waiting to catch you doing something wrong. At one point, he even closed the parasols and the swimming pool to all guests after a single stray drop of rain, despite the blue skies and otherwise sunny weather.
We shared this feedback with the host, who explained that unfortunately they have no influence over these matters. A poor excuse, in our opinion.

Perfect place for a retreat. Quiet and peaceful, with a nice view of the lake. A good place to recharge and unwind.

Fantastisch.
