I spent a couple of days exploring Kent by train - location was perfect for this (Canterbury 14 mins, London 40 mins). Very friendly welcome from the manager (owner?). Room was very good, bathroom was massive and it was spotless. Very quiet at night considering it is just behind the high street.
Nothing wrong with the hotel, it's just that Ashford doesn't really have anything to offer as a tourist. Would recommend using it as a hub only

It was quiet & set well back from the high street.
No sachets of milk to in the room.

Location was great right in the centre.
Said I had a parking space but somebody else took it. Bed was uncomfortable, it had a mirror the lit up and heated but it wasn't working so I didn’t think it was a luxury double room.
