*Villa Ambelonas*
**Overview**
Set in private grounds in tranquil Old Skala, Villa Ambelonas is a peaceful retreat with uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea, Zakynthos and the surrounding hills. With a 13m infinity pool, spacious terraces and beautifully furnished interiors, it’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect and enjoy the slower rhythm of island life.
**Inside the villa**
Inside, the villa is bright, airy and thoughtfully equipped for couples, families or friends. The open‑plan living area opens directly onto the pool terrace, and all three en‑suite bedrooms enjoy wide sea views. Two upstairs bedrooms can be arranged as super‑king doubles or comfortable twins, giving you full flexibility. The villa is equipped for six adult guests; however, a travel cot can be added to allow an infant (only) to be added as a seventh guest.
**Outdoor living**
Outdoors, you’ll find plenty of space to relax — from the shady covered terrace to the sunny poolside patio with loungers and parasols. The infinity pool has walk‑in steps, submerged seating and hydro‑massage jets, perfect for cooling off or lazing around.
**Amenities and services**
Included amenities: air conditioning, heating, fly screens, fast Wi Fi, UK TV, iPod dock, music system, boardgames, books and beach essentials.
A high chair and stair gate can also be provided on request.
A mini-safe is provided in one of the bedrooms.
Available on request, payable locally: private chef, daily housekeeping, massage treatments, chauffeur and grocery delivery.
**Location**
Although wonderfully peaceful, the villa is just a short drive from Skala’s long sandy beach, watersports, restaurants, cafés and shops. It’s an ideal base for exploring Kefalonia’s coastline, villages and walking trails — or simply doing nothing at all.

Amazing villa, had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable family holiday.Pool was amazing, waking up to the views was a dream. Pool was in the shade from around 7pm, which was perfect for an evening swim to cool down without worrying about the kids burning.Crazy hairpin turn on the way up, but mastered this after a day or so lol.Our hire car lacked in power a little, so we had some struggles the firat day navigating some of the hill climbs but you easily get used to it.The welcome hamper was such an amazing touch as we arived late in the day so all the shops had closed. Would 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and we will definitely be visiting again!Thanks to Irene the amazing host for letting us stay and to Elaine the fab cleaner who was so lovely.

Had an amazing stay at Ambelonas Villa, the villa and location are incredible. Irene made us feel so welcome when booking and throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave us so much information to enhance our holiday. We felt totally looked after, with Elaine only a short distance away if we had any difficulties. This is the most beautiful, tranquil place we have ever stayed and can’t wait to go back next year.
