The town is surrounded by pretty countryside and lovely little villages worthy of exploring, whilst Horncastle is just 15 minutes’ drive away, renowned for its interesting shops and antiques centres where you’re certain to pick up a reminder of your time in this lovely location. Spend the afternoon at Snipe Dale Country Park, which offers 200 acres of beautiful rolling countryside with way marked trails, picnic areas and a variety of wildlife. Or head east to find yourself beside the sea within a 20-minute drive, where you’ll find Skegness with its traditional seaside attractions, or the quieter resort of Chapel St Leonard’s, both with delightful golden sandy beaches. Spilsby is a lovely location for your Lincolnshire getaway, with a wealth of things to see and do nearby.
