Your vacation home is located directly on Lake Neversdorf – with private access to the water, a jetty, and a rowboat. The split-level architecture blends harmoniously into the sloping shore and creates exciting visual connections between the living areas, garden, and lake.
The open-plan living areas are on the garden level and form the heart of the house. Large windows connect the kitchen and dining area seamlessly with the wooden veranda. The living room opens onto a natural stone terrace with barbecue area and direct lake views via a panoramic sliding window.
The lovingly landscaped garden extends over several levels to the lake shore. On the wooden veranda, you can enjoy long meals outdoors, while the stone terrace invites you to spend quiet evenings by the water. From the jetty, you can swim to the nearby bathing island or explore the lake by rowboat.
Pure nature awaits you around Leezen: water birds at the Leezener Au, native wildlife in the Eekholt Wildlife Park, and outdoor adventures in the Trappenkamp Adventure Forest. The Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg and the Holstentherme in Kaltenkirchen are popular destinations for excursions. Numerous cycling and hiking trails lead through forests and fields.

A very nice and interesting split-level house on a lakeside lot with 2 bathrooms. One of them, however, has no shower. The charming 1950s decor has been marred in some places by random stylistic inconsistencies. The master bedroom facing the lake couldn’t be darkened. This isn’t ideal for everyone, especially since the lake reflects light quite a bit and the motion detectors tend to go off at night.
The kitchen isn’t particularly functional. It lacked basic items like a kettle for tea drinkers—there was only a strange version of an espresso machine, no drip coffee maker, and no French press. There’s room for improvement here, but I’m sure that can be fixed quickly. This might sound negative, but a property in this price range thrives on guests actually enjoying their time there—not just being on the go.
