You’ll find this authentic 1932 functionalist house just 100 steps from one of Denmark’s few south-facing beaches. The architecture has been preserved in its original form, and the house offers exceptional natural light and charming details that make it truly unique.
Inside, you’ll experience the classic style of functionalism with well-designed spaces and natural light that creates an airy atmosphere throughout the house. The whimsical architectural details from the 1930s give the home a special character.
Outside, you have three different outdoor spaces to choose from: the rooftop terrace for morning sun, the large wooden terrace with lounge furniture and ocean views, and the secluded backyard with fruit trees. Each area offers its own unique experience of the house’s potential.
Take walks in the high-altitude beech forest with panoramic views of the sea, or follow the Haderslev Camino, which passes right by. Visit the medieval town’s cathedral, take a ride on the Dambåden in Damparken, or explore 11 km of singletrack in Pamhule near Denmark’s second-largest wildlife park.

We really liked the vacation home. Its modern functionalist design creates a pleasant, uncluttered atmosphere. The location in Hejsager is ideal: you can go for a morning walk right on the beach and quickly reach Haderslev Dyrehave to watch the deer. The evening stroll to the beachside grill for ice cream was a lovely way to end the day. A great choice for lovers of design and nature.
