While only a 10-minute ride from the waterfront restaurants, beautiful Pacific beaches, colorful local produce markets and the lively club scene of Puerto Vallarta, the villa is also perfect for dropping out of the real-time world to relax by the pool, be with friends or indulge in a good book. Excursions to quiet coves, the colorful nearby towns of Yelapa, Mismaloya, Sayulita and boat rides on the famous Banderas Bay are easily arranged, as are day passes to the luxe spas of Punta Mita. Outings to several golf courses are within a 30-minute drive.



The Space:

Upon entering Casa del Angel, as trumpet vines tumble over the tall stone columns, decorative wrought iron gates and carved wooden doors, you know you are someplace special. On your right the Talavera tile fountain splashes, on your left the 50 foot tall royal palm tree welcomes you. The terra cotta walkway encircling the verdant tropical garden below beckons you forward.



More hand-carved wooden doors reveal the high beamed ceiling and grand brick arches of this Mexican hacienda-style villa. Here, the communal space of the Great Room joins a living area with stone-fireplace, a chandeliered dining area, and a stunning blue-tiled, open plan kitchen. There is also a king size bedroom and powder room on this level.



Casa del Angel continues to unfold through a pair of wide double openings to the ocean view terrace. With its tiled lapis blue pool, shaded palapa table seating, pool bar and the barbecue area, the terrace overlooks the city below, and culminates with a full view of the Pacific Ocean. With early morning light, spectacular sunsets and nighttime fireworks, Casa del Angel exudes enchantment.



One floor above the Entry Level is the Upper Level with two ensuite bedrooms. The first has a king-size bed, bathroom and a private terrace overlooking the city and the sea. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds, a private bath and views of the lush garden, the pool terrace and the Pacific Ocean. Here also is located the flower and palm bedecked Morning Terrace with seating overlooking the royal palm and your personal private jungle - a perfect setting for morning coffee.



One floor below the main Entry Level is the Garden Level featuring the Casita del Toro. Entering through double doors off the garden courtyard, the casita is another extraordinary space. This area features two king bedded rooms, a full bathroom with garden view shower, an onyx half bath, as well as a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. A sea-view balcony in one bedroom and a separate dining terrace with city and ocean views complete the unforgettable Garden Level accommodations.



The courtyard garden is curated in association with the Vallarta Botanical Gardens (truly a must-see visit in Puerto Vallarta!). With a pathway meandering among the orchids, heliconias, flame ginger, anthuriums, ferns, the royal palm tree and more, this space becomes your personal tropical jungle. Guests enjoy seeing butterflies, birds, geckos, iguanas, and, from time to time, other insects or wildlife passing through the property.



This garden is designed to be a true tropical setting – not a sealed-off resort environment. With the tropical gardens and surrounding jungle come the occasional visits from nature.
