With its barred windows, some cozy moss on the roof and a fantastic pergola with wild plants on the terrace, the black wooden house is a perfect oasis for those of you who dream of an idyllic holiday home vacation. Just an 8-minute walk to a beach with fine, white sandy shores, the cottage is located so you can easily stroll back and forth between the beach and the house.
In the cottage, the wood has been painted white in some places for a light and airy feel, while the warm wood color has been retained in others. This gives the wooden house that special, cozy cottage feel without the atmosphere being heavy - instead, it feels cozy and nostalgic, and the fine Nordic decor with a touch of country style makes the cottage homely and wonderful to stay in.
In the kitchen you'll find everything you need, and in the summer it's great to open the door to the terrace and let the summer breeze in. The kitchen overlooks the dining room, making the house feel open and connected. In the living room, you can sink into the soft furnishings, where it's especially peaceful in winter to enjoy the glow of the wood-burning stove with a good book while the snow falls outside the large, idyllic window. Like the rest of the house, the bedrooms are decorated in a nostalgic, Nordic style that creates a cozy atmosphere.
On the lovely terrace, the pergola cover extends the summer months, allowing you to enjoy the sun's rays sheltered from wind and drizzle. There's also plenty of space in the garden for the whole family to play a game of kings.
Enjoy a walk or bike ride to Smidstrup Beach 450 meters from the cottage or further along the coast, or take a trip to Gilleleje Harbour. Shopping facilities are only 100 meters from the house, and there are also great restaurants within a short distance.
