About this cabin rental
Only one hour from Atlanta lies a magical retreat for family, friends, or corporate needs. This cozy 3bdr 2 bath cottage sits on 100 wooded acres with trails to explore and is bordered by the Flint River and Line Creek. Here you can while away the hours picnicing, reading on the swinging porch bed, picking fruit from trees or vines, trying out a new recipe in our fully equipped kitchen or stargazing.Looking for more adventure? Take your kayak for a spin down the Flint River Water Trail (entry points nearby), cook your fresh catch on the grill, venture into the nearby small towns to explore coffee shops, bookstores, take a tour to tv & movie filming location scenes (The Walking Dead sites, The Hunger Games, Fried Green Tomatoes, and more), and shop. Come explore the serene beauty of Haven's Rest! (Note: We are 15 minutes to Riverwood Studios, under 40 minutes to the U.S. Soccer Federation, approx. 1hr. 15min to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and just under an hour to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport). Please not that as of 6/30/2026, local torrential rains have damaged our 1/2mile long driveway and it is currently a bit of a bumpy ride. It is in the process of repair and is still usable, just bumpy!

We loved this cottage!! Everything was tastefully updated, clean, beautiful, relaxing, comfortable, and great communication and attentiveness from the host, Debbie. The gardens are inspirational and the porches are very relaxing. I would stay here again. The driveway was long but the signs were cute and it’s nice to know how secluded we were for a get away.

This had been the most relaxing stay. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need. The flowers are so beautiful. You can sit on the front porch and just listen to the sound of nature or talk with family members about old times. The bedrooms are wonderful too. There's one with a full size bed and bunk beds and reading lights for each. And there's great communication with the host, she's been very helpful and always letting me know if i need anything to let her know. I can't say enough good things about the home or my stay!

What a great property! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well provisioned. The land was beautiful and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
