This is a charming lake house, with tons of room inside and outside. It exceeded all of our expectations. And the location is quiet and more secluded than we thought. Would highly recommend.

It was wonderful! Beautiful view. The only complaint we have is that it has a musty smell. We could only think it was because the cottage is old. Would definitely stay again!

We knew the home was rustic, we just didn't realize how old it was. Cons: The living room furniture had a musty smell but we didn't really spend much time there. Bit of a black ant problem. The screens in the sunroom had holes, so gnats came in at night. The couple that stayed downstairs said the step out of the tub was tough.Pros: We loved the sunroom and spent most of our time there. The view of the lake was so peaceful and had it not been that cold we definitely would have utilized the kayaks. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit each night. BBQ utensils and propane were included. The kitchen was definitely updated. The upstairs bedroom was lovely. Plenty of extra blankets & towels if needed. Beds & pillows were comfortable. No wifi issues, if you need it for work you should be fine.Weird experience - booked thru VRBO, it was transferred to Vacasa & they were wonderful to deal with answering all my questions. However, the next day after checking in we were told they were no longer in charge of our reservation and it was moved to First Chair. I reached out to them with no response.
