Wonderful property in a quiet area of town. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and was well equipped with all we needed, including cooking facilities, iron and hair dryer. The shared terrace had lots of seating options.
The beach and main strip of restaurants and bars was a short 10 minute walk away, and you pass a good supermarket on the way which was handy.
We parked our hire car on the street outside and there was always space (I was slightly concerned as it was a busy road but the car was fine for 4 nights).
The property sits on the main road into Himare, which does make it very accessible but was noisy. We were concerned about the road noise after reading other reviews, but we didn’t find it to be an issue in the most part, and it was quiet enough at night. Our apartment had a second bedroom at the back of the villa which likely helped keep the noise down, and we kept the bedroom window shut. However when sitting out on the terrace, the road was often very noisy and not very peaceful!
