De hosts: Maria en Juan zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo brachten ze speelgoed voor onze kleuter en zorgden ze voor allerhande handige tips.
Het appartement: Proper, verzorgd ingericht, van alle comfort voorzien. Ook het keukenmateriaal, bestek en servies, de potjes met kruiden, alles was klaar voor gebruik. De kleine attenties in de koelkast brachten ons meteen in vakantiestemming.
De locatie: Even buiten Hastings was het de ideale uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Het appartement ligt op het ruime domein van de eigenaars in een rustige omgeving. ‘s Ochtends kan je buiten ontbijten terwijl de eekhoorntjes een beetje verderop in de bomen spelen. Het grote grasveld was ideaal voor onze kleuter om wat energie kwijt te raken.

Quiet location, set back from a quiet road with good countryside views. Well presented. Kitchen is galley style and has usual gadgets in good repair.
Space is well designed.
Didn't try heating as never got cold and hot water is always available.
Bathroom is good size and in good repair.
Property is warm and cozy with good windows for light, but dark when you pull curtains and blinds
Parking is simple and behind a locked gate . Close to Bexhill, Little common and Ninfield. .
Property is upstairs which I'm ok with but may not suit everyone.
Kitchen worktop was a bit shaded from the lights and would benefit from a dedicated light for darker evenings.
We would prefer a double or even better a king bed but the 2 singles were Ok.
Sofa bed is decent size and relatively comfy but I find rolling it out a bit faffy. I would like more pillows but we used the sofa cushions so it was OK.

Maria and Juan are a lovely couple, provided great communication with regards to accessing the property and go out of their way to help make your stay enjoyable. It’s a gated property on their grounds, very safe. They provide the gate key fob and property key on arrival either by person or by leaving in a safe place for you, of which they will message you where.
They informed us of a pleasant walk around the area and provided some garden games for the children as well as swings being in the garden.
The property is upstairs, above a large garage. Our stay was during one of the heatwaves, a bonus is the property is shaded by trees and having the windows open either end kept it cool. There are skylights in each section as well. It’s a good layout, very clean, kitchen cutlery/utensils/washing liquid/clothes provided, oven and hob, fridge (Maria provided some milk and fruit juices pre arrival in
there), towels and bedding are included too!
It’s around a 10-15 minute drive to Bexhill beach or town.
