It was very enjoyable and close to the cliff railway. My 88 year old mother loved it.

Stay was lovely people was really nice and kind and really helpful beautiful place

Everything was lovely the sea front was great shops was lovely food was so nice 😋

Only think the room was not 100% nice but the bed was lovely to sleep in felt like home

Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable. Hotel in great location. Good selection of food.

Would have liked to be able to have a cup of tea on arrival but no facilities available. Rooms not serviced unless on request but this wasn’t made clear.

Superb

We were able to upgrade our room to Seaview better room. Plus we were able to have car space outside during our stay. The reception staff were helpful and helped us book dinner. The hotel was located in Lynton close to shops.

Excellent value for money. Lovely, comfortable hotel in a great location in Lynton. We had a room with a sea view without spending a fortune.

Parking is limited, but that is to be expected given the location and is the same for many other hotels in the same area.

Breakfast quite good not all on menu available.Lovely location

General ambiance of hotel poor, needs better maintenance inside and out. Gardens need some upkeep.

lovely 2 night stay,might have struggled if it was any longer as it was such hard work having a shower

Superb

There was a minor problem upon arrival but the staff handled this excellently. The room was very spacious and quiet. Breakfast was OK.

At breakfast I like to have a cappuccino but that was unfortunately not available.

Unlikely to return, grubby bathrooms and communal areas. Bar shut early. Staff lovely!

We would definitely stay again, great location and very helpful and friendly staff

A great old building with lots of character. We stayed in the family room, which was very big and had a lovely big window

There was a carpet stain where radiator had leaked, but we understand this couldn’t be helped without replacing the whole carpet -it was a huge room! Lovely old original radiators -don’t change them!

Disappointing

The fact that I'd originally booked a twin room and some how this was changed to a double I was not very impressed had to pay extra to have an extra mattress put in the room will not I repeat will not use booking.com again

Excellent Staff, Beautiful location and a great value for money.

Beautiful location with an excellent staff. Super friendly and even though you had to wait sometimes, the really made an effort to help us. Also the extra information for a money exchange and tips for must sees in the region were perfect. Even though it was an old hotel, we loved the original features of the hotel.

The bed was quite old and not everything was clean. (Both weren't a real issue for us)

Surprisingly wonderful

Staff: the front of house lady was amazing (Liverpudlian)! She made it so much better than I thought it was going to be or was last time I visited (not stayed)

I had to leave and she's not in my day - she was so kind and there for everything

Nice traditional hotel in a very idyllic and picteresque setting witg a lovely spacious room and breakfast was the best aspect with a lovely range choice. Would consider staying again in the future if visiting the North Devon area.

A hotel with stunning view.

The location is perfect. The view around is stunning. The staff members were polite. I would specially like to thank the chef who was working on 4 September 2022. He came to our table and asked us if we would like to have something. Upon our request, he freshly cooked us some hot breakfast.
