Once you find Edwin's house, you may never want to leave! It can be a little to trick to find at first but once you arrive you realize that it's an awesome location. He does have Starlink wifi at the house so if you are on the right side of the island with phone service you can call for directions, although he will usually contact you before you arrive on the island. My room was clean and comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep you warm at night. Edwin provided a great breakfast and dinner every day and it was a good chance to meet other guests. There are so many beautiful walks you can take from the house, you can watch the sunset from the main walkway just behind the house, and you don't even need to leave the house to watch the sunrise. If you're lucky enough to be there on a clear night like I was, the stars are amazing and you can see the milky way with your own eyes. Edwin and his wife are great hosts, and this is definitely a place I would go back to in the future. Most tourists visit Taquile just on a day trip, others stay one night. Don't make that mistake. I booked two nights but ended up staying for 6 nights! Also, remember to travel light! You will regret carrying a full backpack around the island at almost 4000M.
I was sad to leave after 6 wonderful days.
