The property is run by Melissa, who is a wildlife conservationist by profession and therefore runs the lodge respecting the local biodiversity. The property was built by her family decades back, and so Melissa knows a lot about the area and its history.
We really enjoyed going on horseback riding along the coast and her farm as well as going on an early morning hike to appreciate all the wildlife of the region.
What I especially loved was listening to the history of the property and the region, and learning more about the various communities that live there.
After long days, it was especially magical to sit by the sea and enjoy a drink being surrounded by fireflies!
Everything was great, the only thing I would change is to increase the food portions by a tiny bit.

The lodge is very comfortable and modern - spacious rooms, ensuite bathrooms and large communal areas all open to guests, plus incredible views and access to the jungle and the sea on your doorstep. The activities and tours we did were excellently organised and very varied, hikes to see wildlife, horseback riding and cultural activities to local areas. The food was also a highlight - it was full room and board, with delicious meals featuring local fish and vegetables. The staff and guides (all led by lovely owner Melissa) are very knowledgeable and attentive - it never feels like anything is left unattended or overlooked.
Nothing. And as a relatively new project, the owner gathered feedback continuously and any suggestions were already taken on board during our stay, which felt like going above and beyond. Thank you Melissa!

Excelente lugar para relajarse, muy privado, solo estaba el personal del hotel. Las caminatas por la selva fueron increíbles, el proceso de los guías muy profesional y cuidadoso, atentos a las necesidades y esfuerzo, al ser un hotel mas enfocado en el turismo ecológico y pensado para menos personas la atencion y todo el proceso para tours y acompañamiento es muy personalizado, te hacen sentir como familia.
el acceso mar justo al frente a unos pocos pasos es un plus, y la posibilidad de acceder a otras playas en la cercanía, donde son mucho mas turisticas, pero conservando mucha mas privacidad y calma al dormir y descansar es otro beneficio.
el suministro de energia también esta muy bien complemenentado, cuentan con generador y energia solar para suplir la mayor parte del dia lo que es muy positivo dado lo retirado que son todas las instalaciones de la zona, la comida muy agradable, muy bien pensada, muy delicioso todo, especialmente la atención al detalle con alergias y pensar en ofrecer comida y recetas inspiradas en la gastronomía local.
