​Forgot to pack a toiletry? We’ve got you covered with a complimentary "Forgot Something" basket in the bathroom, stocked with travel essentials like new toothbrushes, sunscreen, and makeup removers so you can focus entirely on relaxing!

The Retreat is a scenic, easy 30-minute drive from the popular Huzzah Valley Resort and Bass River Resort.

​Many of our guests choose us as their ultimate floating weekend home base! You get the absolute best of both worlds: spend a fun day out on the water renting canoes, rafts, or tubes at the resorts, and then escape the loud, packed campgrounds at the end of the day. Come back to your own private, peaceful oasis to grill out, sit by the fire pit, and relax in true comfort.



​🚐 RV, UTV & Camper Friendly – Private Basecamp

​Easy Maneuvering: Our property features a massive gravel roundabout and a wide driveway, making towing a breeze. Whether you are hauling a large RV or a trailer full of UTVs/Side-by-Sides, there is no tight backing required.

​Off-Road Ready: We offer plenty of secure, level ground to park your trailers and toys, a large covered eave for extra gear shelter, and a private gazebo area with a dedicated electrical panel and well-water access (perfect for dry camping setups or charging UTV batteries). Note: We do not have on-site sewage/dump stations.

​Red Bluff Recreation Area: Hiking & swimming (~5 minutes / 2 miles).

​Dillard Mill State Historic Site: Historic Grist Mill (~15–20 minutes).

You don't have to drive far to stock up! Viburnum is just a quick 10-minute drive down the road and has everything you need:

​Dollar General Market: Supermarket-style location stocked with fresh groceries, produce, and essentials.

​Local Grocery Store: Perfect for picking up extra supplies and food items.

​Casey’s General Store: Great for gas, convenience items, or grabbing a quick pizza.

(If you need a traditional full-service supermarket, you can also head into Steelville to visit Country Mart, ~25 minutes). We highly recommend stocking up on charcoal and firewood before you arrive!
