Located almost equidistant to (within a 10-15 minute drive) Stone Harbor, Avalon and Cape May, 1 mile from Jessie Creek Winery, this newly-renovated waterfront home offers a calm retreat for guests. With two bedrooms (one features a queen bed; the other offers a full-size bed plus a trundle bed and windows that look out on the water), plus a living room with a sofa bed, there’s plenty of space to relax. Smart TVs in each bedroom and living room, high-speed WiFi. Sink into the comfy sofas on the lower lanai for morning coffee while watching the gentle waves of our shore. Dine beachfront at the long table protected by covered deck. Watch epic sunsets on our upper deck, where you can also lounge in the daytime sun. Walk the sandy beach, swim in the calm, ocean-like waters of the lower Delaware Bay, fish from the surf in front of the house or from the long fishing pier just a few minutes walk from the house. Watch terrapins (from appropriate distance) travel across the sand to lay eggs. Test your birdwatching skills at this world-famous migration layover for hundreds of bird species (Audubon guidebook in living room ). From our rooftop deck, view endless marshlands full of egrets and other waterfowl. End your day enjoying sea breezes while sitting by a flickering fire pit. The indoor spaces in this home are simple, clean and serene, but the outdoor spaces here offer so many nooks to enjoy being alive in a whole different way... This is lovely Reeds Beach.
