Directions to the properly were a little confusing could be more explicit

The town and property were great. Friendly. Interesting shops and eating places for all. Quite slept well

The parking. There is room outside but not sure why you can't park there. There are parking 1 hour parking spaces but private from 8am till 5pm.

Central to Holt Town.

We really enjoyed our stay in Holt for the 1940s weekend, but unfortunately the accommodation wasn’t quite as well equipped as we had hoped, particularly for four adults. The upstairs area was unfinished, and the second bedroom only had one bedside table. There was also no chest of drawers or desk/storage area for clothes that didn’t need to be hung. As we were attending the 1940s weekend and getting dressed up, having somewhere to sit and do our hair and make-up would have been really useful. There was no dressing table or suitable mirror for this. The only mirror upstairs was the sliding wardrobe mirror in the second bedroom, and there wasn’t even a mirror in the bathroom. The master bedroom only had a mirror in the bathroom, which wasn’t ideal with four adults all trying to get ready at the same time. We also found the shower quite slippery when getting out, and an anti-slip mat would have been a worthwhile addition for safety. There were no curtains in any of the rooms, although curtain poles were already fitted. Adding curtains or blinds would make the property feel much more finished and provide additional privacy. Overall, the property has potential, but adding some basic storage, mirrors, dressing facilities, window coverings and an anti-slip shower mat would make a significant difference to guests’ comfort and experience.
