We were welcomed by Natalia, the lovely lady who takes care of the apartment, and from the very first moment she made us feel at home. She is incredibly kind, warm, helpful and always willing to assist. She speaks Greek, German and English, so communication was very easy.
Natalia gave us plenty of useful information and great local tips about the island. She even helped us make reservations at some fantastic restaurants that we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. She is genuinely one of the kindest people we met during our holiday and, for us, a 10/10 host!
The apartment is new, spotlessly clean and equipped with absolutely everything you could need. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get in reality.
We especially appreciated the kitchen. It is fully equipped, with every utensil you could possibly need. This was important to us because on some evenings we preferred to stay in, cook dinner and enjoy it on the balcony while watching the sunset. Some of our favourite evenings of the holiday were spent exactly like this.
Even the drive from the main road to the accommodation is beautiful. The road winds through pine trees, with lovely views of the houses scattered across the hills. Every time we drove up, it felt as if we were entering a little mountain village from a story.
And then there is the peace and quiet. This was probably what surprised us the most. The location is away from the busy tourist areas and surrounded by nature. If you are looking for peace, privacy and a place where you can truly relax after a day at the beach or exploring the island, this is the perfect place.
The apartment is spacious enough for a couple with one or two children and has everything you need to feel comfortable even during a longer stay.
We left feeling that we had chosen exactly the right place for our holiday in Thassos. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it wholeheartedly.
And Natalia deserves one more mention.
