The building and the apartment are both relatively new. It is located in a small fishing village, just about 100 metres from a harbour filled with fishing boats. Every morning, I would step outside with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the bay.
The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The surroundings are peaceful, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere of the ocean harbour, with seagulls calling overhead, is truly relaxing.
There is a spacious, well-lit underground parking garage that is easy to use. The Wi-Fi is exceptionally fast—close to 1 Gbps. The living area is quite spacious, although the bedroom is a bit on the small side.
A special thanks to the host. He responded quickly to all of our requests, and when unexpected renovation work started in the apartment below us, he arranged for it to be stopped while we were staying there.
This is definitely a place to visit if you have a car and want to spend your days exploring nature. We drove all around the surrounding area, almost as far as the Portuguese border. Large supermarkets and banks are located in the neighbouring town, just a 10-minute drive away.
The apartment does not have air conditioning, exactly as stated in the listing. Even so, we found it a bit too warm, despite the outside temperature being only around 26°C. There is a small fan, but it wasn’t enough for us—perhaps we simply prefer cooler temperatures.
There was one drawback that genuinely surprised us: the shower is extremely narrow. Once you’re inside, you’re standing almost right up against the walls on three sides.
