A spacious two bedroom apartment, in a modern apartment building, with two bathrooms (one en suite), a large, well equipped kitchen and a utility space for clothes washing etc. There is a small balcony with pleasant views over Piazza d’Italia and Porta Biaggia. The airconditioning works well in both bedrooms and the living space and there are sun and insect screens on the doors to the balcony. The owners provide a personal welcome to the property (with a complementary bottle of wine) and answer any questions promptly. Across the road from the apartment block, you are immediately in the narrow streets of the wonderful historic centre of the city. 10 minutes walk in the other direction to Piazza Manzini, with its modern shops and a big supermarket. The railway station is about 15 minutes walk away.
There are a few steps up from the front door of the building to the lobby with the elevator. We were able to carry our cases up, but I’m not sure whether the chairlift would cope with heavy suitcases?
