If you're looking for a somewhere that feels like proper camping, but not too far away from civilization this is the place. The land feels lovely and private, yet is a short walk back down to the road if you need to get anywhere. There's also a lovely, small, local pub serving food a few doors down if you're not keen on cooking. No frills (apart from the enclosed composting toilet, which is a great addition), plenty of space to choose from, with the most amazing stars at night! A selection of chairs/reclining loungers on site for you to use, as well as drinking water. The host was warm, welcoming and helpful and made sure we were happy throughout the stay. Exactly what I needed to introduce my young children to camping and would definitely come back again.
