This isn't just a hotel room. It's the renovated home of a counsellor, so it has a lot of historical value and the location is perfect. Everything is much closer than it looks on the map. You can easily walk to the port and Tsamakia Beach. Tavernas, cafes, street food, and handmade crafts are all super close. Unless you are planning to visit Plomari or Molyvos, I really don't think you'll need a car.
There is a luggage point very close by. You can easily drop your belongings there for a reasonable price and walk around until check-in time. The view is amazing. The Byzantine Museum is right across the sea, and you get a perfect sea view from the front. The host was also great. He helped me with everything I needed, and the communication was clear and just right.
As for the house, the front balcony is small, but the back terrace can easily fit four people. If you are planning a trip for two, the space is more than enough. Everything in the house is brand new. The furniture, the appliances... everything was clean. Since we were traveling with kids, having a washer dryer was a lifesaver. They thoughtfully provided snacks, napkins, etc. for our entire stay.
The internet connection is really fast. The only small thing was that we couldn't get the TV out of retail mode. But this wasn't a problem for us at all, so it didn't affect our stay in the slightest.
