the cute studio apartment is located on the ground floor of a historical building inside the medieval center of Panicale. recently refurbished it offers plenty of period feature together with modern design elements. it looks stylish and is at the same time well thought out and practical. compliments to Damiano, our host, who led the refurbishment himself.
the small kitchen is well equipped and worked well for us. there is even a small washing machine, drying stand and ironing board ( although we didn't try ). and the place was very clean (-:
we were welcomed by Damiano himself with some treats and local produce from their family farm. it was interesting to talk with him about olive farming and truffle hunting.
For my wife the highlight was to talk with him about the filming of the british TV series ' signora Volpe ' and Damiano even took the time for a stroll through town to some of the iconic locations. Many Thanks to him for the extra effort.
Besides being drawn to Panicale by the film, we have to say that Panicale has a nice atmosphere with the small medieval alleyways and some great views over Lake Trasimeno and the Umbrian landscape.
To round up our stay we had a very good meal in a small restaurant at the main square; Lillotatini.

Beautifully designed, this property is in fact a studio apartment. There is a full kitchen cleverly hidden behind cabinetry, and the bathroom includes not just a bidet, but a towel warmer. The location is literally a minute from the main square but manages to stay quiet and calm.

Host gentilissimo, ci ha fatto trovare un graditissimo aperitivo di benvenuto. La struttura curata in ogni dettaglio. Veramente perfetta
Unica pecca, se proprio devo trovarne una, la mancanza di finestre: solo una piccolina in ingresso.
