Villare Hotel Leicester City Centre

Just temporarily thr way into the the hotel reception climbing stairs but promise lift be fixed in a few days time . Lovely newly decorative room s vert nice and large bedroom s. Very nice indeed

This is the best place to stay in Leicester, beautiful view from the hotel lobby, close to the weekend events in city center.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent for the city centre. Check-in was smooth and overall the stay was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing major to mention. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Very central location - 5 minute walk from Highcross shopping centre. Cheap parking at Highcross Rooftop with hotel discount (£6 for 24 hours). Rooms are very large and spacious. Big tv in room. Did not feel rushed to check out. Air conditioning was great in the hot weather. Good price in comparison to other hotels. Staff were helpful.

Hotel name on building is Villare, not St Nicholas. Central location means lots of noise - thumping bass from nearby club, people outside shouting, noisy guests in hotel, bin trucks beeping at ridiculous o’clock etc - if you want a quiet location this is not the place for you! Needs more attention to cleaning-found a number of hairs on the bedsheet, towels were clean but slightly stained. Better maintenance is needed - wardrobe with dodgy sliding door and a broken shelf, safe was broken and unusable. Bedside light with no bulb. Wobbly table and slippery rug - need to be stabilised to prevent accidents. Other guests smoked in the corridors. If the lift is full or not working it’s 3 flights of stairs to reception (rooms are on floors 1 and 2.
