Breakfast was a delightfully presented French Toast with powdered sugar and? whipped cream. There was also a fruit cocktail and mini muffin, also powdered with sugar?
Considering that was included with the fee it was quite lovely and economical.
Personally, it was way too much sugar for me to start out my day, on my bicycle, but I appreciated the presentation and the intention.
I was in the "blue room". It would have been nice if there was a nightstand and light next to my bed.
I couldn't open the windows to get fresh air.

Great breakfast!. Great staff!
Lovely old time character downstairs, and in breakfast room. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Great location for us.

Our breakfasts were prepared to perfection and very fancy
In the Blue Room a little curtain on the bathroom window would be nice and maybe a nicer upholstered chair for reading.. everything else was perfect

The house is large and filled with furnishings of bygone eras. All the bedrooms are on second floor , it should be noted , there’s a long flight of stairs.
Although furniture is antique, the bed was very comfortable, but should note it’s very high to get up on. They should provide a step up in that room. The ensuite was extremely clean. Lots of good lighting and accessible electrical outlets. Window air conditioner. Staff makes great effort to provide a wonderful breakfast. Delicious food and old world charm table setting.
The stairs and height of bed could prove difficult for some. There is no attendant on site for late arrivals. It’s totally self check in, and solo travelers might find that disconcerting. However, there’s a very large onsite parking area near the entrance. Instructions are left in mailbox. Coded key lock to get in. Automatically on flood lights.
But folks need to remember to relock door after getting admittance. So hopefully other visitors heed those directions too.
We arrived in the dark. The house was a looming structure at night. But by day, it’s surrounded with flowers to make it appear fanciful. There’s a public school across the street and residential housing nearby.
Some urban structures as it’s on a main street.
