Gorgeous house and very clean! Had everything we needed and parking was easy too.
Ten minute drive from Ulverston and 25 minute drive from Bowness.
Super quiet area so no disturbances at night.
Beds super comfy and towels and basic toiletries also available for use.
Cot provided for us as requested and also some toys and books available at the property too which my daughter loved.
Loved the automatic lights that came on on the stairs when going up them in the dark which meant we didn’t have to turn the hall lights on if getting up in the night!
Spacious rooms - lounge and dining area which was fab for our group of 8 - 6 adults and 2 kids
Two bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor.
Would have been helpful for a bit more info on the rooms when I asked as we needed to plan where the baby and toddler would sleep in advance. There were futon beds but no bedding for them available which meant it was a bit of a faff sorting everyone out. Not really a huge problem but just helpful to fully understand what the setup is when you have some specific requirements with kids.
Only one toilet which is slightly trickier when you’re with a larger group but again not a huge issue! :)
