Great location, the fact you can just pop back to use the toilet is fantastic. The beach is literally at the end of the road which is great for the kids and dropping off all the beach stuff. Tesco is just round the corner too which is very convenient. The flat itself is very clean and spacious, we had 5 adults and two kids in the flat and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The kitchen is nice and all the equipment and appliances are brand new so nothing to complain about.
The property itself is lovely, I would quite happily stay there again for two weeks no problems. There are a lot of stairs and they get a bit steep at the end but we got used to it after a few days and just took our time. It does get very noisy out on the street below the bedroom windows on Saturday night due to everyone going out and having a good time (There’s quite a few nice pubs around) but once I put my earplugs in it didn’t bother me. We had to have our windows open as it was very hot during our stay but it’s much quieter with them shut. There’s no parking at the flat but we paid to park at a gym next to the Asda for the week and it’s only a nice 10mins walk away over the bridge and around the marina so we didn’t have to worry about the car or parking all week. To unload all our stuff my husband drove past the property and I got out and just threw everything in the door quickly. Then he went and parked the car up as we started taking things up. Same process for leaving but we did it the night before we left. There’s no rubbish bins outside so we took small bags of rubbish and popped them in the street bins whenever we went out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seagulls Rest. The apartment is very modern and clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The living room and kitchen area is spacious, with plenty of seating and well stocked with everything you would need including games for the family. All 3 bedrooms are spacious and well presented, bathrooms with showers were spotless. The apartment is less than 5 minutes from the beach, harbour and many bars and restaurants making it super convenient for families. Being on the high street means you get some noise in the early hours when the bars close. There are plenty of parking options all around the area, so although it's not convenient to park outside the property we unloaded the car and left it locally. We had a great time in Weymouth and would certainly recommend Seagulls Rest
