For our adult family of four with 1 small dog
This country pad had an excellent location, friendly & helpful hosts on site (but separate) lovely homely place and for anyone with an interest in buildings and local history.
Pub food next door, walks for the dog
Made our own cooked breakfast in the well appointed kitchen
I felt looked after and safe, without intrusion
And thankful for the little touches like salt pepper oil, ketchup
We arrived to some homemade cookies and bread( perfect for 19 yr olds)
I bought some Damson jam for a local honesty shed
Everything was perfect for our family of four

Close to an area we wanted to explore and to meet up with a relative.
No microwave in the kitchen, which we mentioned and the owner has ordered.

Great layout , spacious living area with a great kitchen and a dining table . The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean . The hosts Katie and Brendan were very hospitable and it is right next door to the pub .
There is only one thing to mention that didnt bother us , but may some people. The garden part is shared space , and there is no privacy glass , some people may feel they are in a gold fish bowl if they are sitting in the living room part . Some privacy voiles are something that could be placed so that the choice is there would make this perfect ( this is not a criticism merely a suggestion)
