The check-in process could definitely be improved. I had to collect the keys in person from their office, which is located on one of the main and busiest streets in Cannes. As I was travelling by car, I had to drive around several times before I could find somewhere to stop for just a few minutes to pick up the keys. A self check-in system, or simply a quicker and more convenient solution, would make a big difference.
The main issue, however, was the water. When I arrived, the hot water had been switched off, so I ended up having to shower with cold water twice. I contacted them and they responded and fixed the issue very quickly, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, on the day of check-out there was another problem. The shower had almost no water pressure the water was literally coming out in drops and only hot water was available. I checked the sink and the water pressure there was normal, but again there was only hot water and no cold water. In the end, I had to wash myself as best as I could using the sink, which was extremely inconvenient.
I understand that technical issues can happen, and I appreciated how quickly they responded the first time. However, having problems with something as basic as running hot and cold water multiple times during a stay caused significant inconvenience and is definitely something that needs to be addressed.
The Wi-Fi also did not work during my stay, which was another inconvenience, particularly as reliable internet access is something you naturally expect to have when booking an accommodation.
