Tô feel at home

The apartment is very spacious and offers a beautiful view of the Nile River. It is very well located—on the quieter side of Luxor—and is very close to the local ferry and boat excursion services. From the balcony, you can see Luxor Temple and observe daily life in a very peaceful setting. The family welcomed us with great warmth and helped us at every turn; the mother even cooked delicious Egyptian dishes for us, which was a real delight.

The only drawback was the internet connection, but I think that’s a general issue given the location on the rural side of Luxor. You can buy a Vodafone or Orange SIM card, or head to a nearby café with a good connection if you need to work online. But honestly, the tranquility and the proximity to the temples and the river make it well worth it.
