About this condo rental
Situated in Cala Gonone, this lovely condo for $103 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The house is very nice, comfortable, furnished with care so that you can spend your holidays pleasantly and in complete tranquility. It is located in the center of the tourist resort of CALA GONONE in a villa including 3 other accommodations inhabited by our family members. Our guests' cars can be parked in front of the house in a very quiet street. The house is accessed independently. It is located on a raised floor above the street and is accessed from a courtyard-terrace. The apartment includes a habitable and furnished veranda of 13 square meters which is in front of the kitchen-living area (25 m2) where there is a well-equipped cooking area with oven, plate, hobs, sink, chest of drawers and food storage. In the same room there is a refrigerator complete with freezing compartment, a table, 6 chairs, two armchairs, a coffee table and a television as well as a cabinet containing plates, glasses, pots and everything else needed for the kitchen. At the end of the living room there are three doors which lead to: a double bedroom of 12 m2, another bedroom with two or, if necessary, 3 beds; toilet complete with shower cubicle; everything is pleasantly and comfortably furnished. All rooms are equipped with large and bright windows overlooking a portion of the garden. The apartment, which is our 2nd home where we spend weekends and holidays, is also complete with bed, bathroom, toilet and kitchen linen which, upon request, for a modest sum, we make available to our guests. The context and the area of Cala Gonone are unique for their natural beauty, where the transparent sea, the white limestone mountains and the evergreen forests make every corner a true and pure spectacle of nature. Characteristic are its suggestive corners, the outdoor areas, where hospitality is expressed in the intense flavors of the land and sea and in the modern accommodation facilities. In the open air and at sea, under the clear Sardinian sky and among intense scents, you can practice sports and activities in contact with a unique natural environment.

This was a wonderful stay at Vito's apartment.
The check-in process was smooth with Vito there to guide us through the property, and they were kind enough to leave us some Italian biscuits as a gift!
The apartment is clean, and easily cooled with the air conditioning.
The veranda is a nice (but still cosy) space to eat and even with the A/C off, the apartment didn’t get too hot at night.
Vito has a sun umbrella there which was great for us to take to the local beaches, and I will most certainly be visiting again the next time I'm in Cala Ganone!

Vito was very easy to deal with - he was very patient when we arrived very late after delays picking up hire car at Olbia. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Aircon was a must given the very hot weather. Location is a few minutes walk down the hill to the centre past pine groves and the Pineta bar, and the excellent Disizos Bakery. Cala Gonone is a pretty resort: we also loved trips out to Oasi Biderosa and a boat trip down the cost, and exploring the local beaches.

Un accueil chaleureux de la part de Vito et sa femme dans un appartement charmant et très bien situé. À peine 10 minutes à pied de la plage la plus proche et des commerces.Les autres plages sont accessibles en voiture ou en bateau.Soleil ,eaux turquoise,bref,une carte postal vivante.Cala Gonone à visité absolument !!!

Super Lage, man ist schnell an jedem Punkt, ob Supermarkt oder Restaurant. Ruhig und angenehm. Wir waren zu zweit und haben es genossen.

Séjour agréable á Cala Gonone
Vito est un hôte très agréable et arrangeant. Son appartement de famille était très propre et bien équipé. La jolie terrasse et la climatisation sont très appréciables et on accède au centre et à de belles plage en marchant une dizaine de minutes. On peut se garer dans la rue devant la maison sans problème même en plein été.
Seul petit bémol : la literie de la chambre parentale et l’isolation phonique avec les voisins d’à coté.
Sinon c’etait un superbe séjour !

Great Location
The property is situated in a quite residential location with plenty of street parking if required. A five minute walk into the village and perhaps 7 minutes back as uphill, but not overly strenuous. Vito and his wife are a charming couple who immediately made us feel at home in their well equipped and cared for property. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from if eating out and supermarkets should you wish to eat in. The local beach is relatively small but we preferred 'Spaggia di Cala Cartoe' beach which has better sand, ideal for children, a mobile refreshment stand and clean toilets. It is approximately an half hour drive North of Cala Gonone along a rather exciting drive over the headland and along the coast.

Zweckmäßige Ferienwohnung
Die Begrüßung und Schlüsselübergabe waren unkompliziert. Vito, der Vermieter reagiert sehr schnell. Wir wurden mit Tiramisu begrüßt. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Einzig eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit (Sessel waren abgewohnt) fehlte. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Straße mit weiteren Feinwohnungen. Wir (Paar, Mitte 50) waren im September/Oktober dort, so dass es wenige Urlauber gab und es dadurch relativ ruhig war. Der Strand ist 400m entfernt neben dem Hafen. Der eigentliche Stadtstrand ist fußläufig in 15 -20 Minuten erreichbar. Etwas ärgerlich waren die bellenden Hunde in der Nachbarschaft. Der Bäcker, der an der Ecke sein sollte hatte leider zu. Wir habe uns dennoch gut erholt. Der Ort bietet reichlich Gastronomie und Supermärkte und kann als Startpunkt für Wanderungen oder andere Aktivitäten genutzt werden.

Amazing Cala Ganone
The apartment is a bit dated but has everything you need. In a good spot - you get a good workout on the way home! Vito met us even though we arrived really late and had left us some local cakes for breakfast. Cala Ganone itself is incredible. Great beaches, caves, trekking and culture and the beautiful clear blue water. We would highly recommend hiring a boat for the day. Hope to be back some day.

Alles da, was man braucht
Die Unterkunft liegt gut, ruhig und doch zentrumsnah. Ausstattung ist gut, es war alles notwendige vorhanden (bis auf Weingläser ,-). Zusätzlich gibt es Heizung und Klimaanlage - beides war nützlich. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war nett und problemlos.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sauber, zweckmässig eingerichtet.
Zentrale und (im Oktober) ruhige Lage, Hafen, Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Ein nachts zuweilen bellender Hund in der Nachbarschaft war der wirklich einzige Negativ-Faktor. Einrichtung einfach und zweckmässig, alles Wichtige ist vorhanden. Sehr sympathischer Empfang, total unkompliziert!

Not knowing what to expect, it was better than we had expected. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Very nice accomodation. Well stocked kitchen (utensilwise of course) . Great location - just a short walk from the beach.
And the best part of all, our hosts, Vito and Lina, as well as his daughter Alice, who just happened to be visiting were all so very helpful and caring.
We highly encourage anywone who wants to come to Cala Gonone to stay here!

The appartment is lovely and cool inside with blinds providing protection from the hot sun. It was really clean when we arrived. It feels very homely with some of the family's belongings (not too many). It is well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. The road is quiet and easy to find when you enter Cala Gonone. It is only minutes from the supermarket, the beach, the bus station and two lovely cafés. You can enjoy a partial view of the mountains from the veranda while having dinner. The owners are very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home (we also were treated to a tiramisu!!!), to make sure we knew how all appliances worked and to provide us with information about the area. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the appartment and commend Lina and Vito Spanu as really reliable and helpful hosts. We had a wonderful time!

"We were welcomed late at night by the owners, who had waited for us a long time at the petrol station at Cala Gonone, because our plane was half an hour late. They showed us to their appartment and patiently explained how everything worked in basic Italian and some English, which worked fine for us. The owners are very nice, trustful, easy going people. They had left us delicious tiramisu. The appartment is perfectly located in a quiet spot of Cala Gonone, but very near the center, the harbour, the main road and the supermarket. The veranda/porch provides a lovely spot for breakfast, with a nice view of the mountains and the great big cactus of the next door neighbours. The appartment itself has all that you need for a vacation: good beds, good shower, more than enough room for two adults. We would really recommend it to a couple or a couple with kids. The interior is decorated and furnished in such a way that you feel at home when you return from a day of difficult climbing in the region of Cala Gonone."

'The accommodation was pleasant and clean. The owners use it a lot and this means it has a lot more cooking equipment than many apartments, including a proper oven. It feels like staying in someone's personal holiday home. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The beds were okay but not wonderful. The location is quiet. Shops five minutes walk. Restaurants ten minutes'.

"We had visited Cala Gonone previously, and knew that we wanted to be in a quiet, residential location (i.e. not a holiday complex) and also to be close to everything. This apartment was perfect for us, we could easily walk to the lovely beach and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. We enjoyed the view from the terrace to the mountain range above Cala Gonone.
A car is useful to explore the area (the possibilities for hiking are fantastic) but you don't need to drive within Cala Gonone itself from this apartment as there is a supermarket and a lovely local bakery just minutes away on foot.
The accommodation was of a high quality, very clean and generously equipped with everything we needed. We were especially delighted to find a home-made Tiramisu in the fridge! The owners were welcoming, and ensured that we had all the information we needed for a worry-free holiday."
