The overall the apartment did not meet my expectations.

The apartment has a convenient location and a nice overall space. The manager was responsive when I reported several issues, and I appreciated that he took action to address some of them. He provided toilet paper, bottled water and coconut water, replaced the broken electrical adapter, added a shower mat, and cleaned the shower drain within a few hours after I reported the problems. I also appreciated that the manager attempted to address the gap underneath the outside door and explained how to use the outside-door key. Although the key was difficult to use at first, I was eventually able to use it after several attempts. Overall, I appreciated the manager’s willingness to respond and resolve some of the issues during my stay.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during my three-night stay that made the experience disappointing. When I checked in, the electrical adapter was broken, there was no shower mat, no hand towels, and no toilet paper. There was also hair in the shower drain, and the key for the outside door was difficult to use and required several attempts before I could open the door. There was a large gap underneath the outside door. Although the manager said he tried to fix it, the gap remained a concern because it allowed the air conditioning to escape. I was advised to lower the AC temperature to keep the room cool. The biggest disappointment was the towel issue. When I requested clean/replacement towels on September 4, I was told that towels were not provided for short stays and that I would need to pay Rp200,000 for an additional cleaning service in order to have the towels replaced. For a three-night stay, I found this unexpected and disappointing. I appreciate that the manager responded to some of my concerns and resolved several of the initial issues, but I believe the apartment should have been properly prepared and supplied before check-in. The overall experience did not meet my expectations for a property booked through Booking.com.
