Wouldn't recommend

Bed comfortable and warm, yurt itself is pretty

Oh boy.. When we booked this we used booking.com's selections to choose 2 adults 1 0-1 we paid the host then received a message a few days later saying children weren't allowed in the yurt so I called and was basically told it's to mitigate their liability, although they would supply a crib 🤦 apparently this is all explained in the description and it's booking.coms fault - highly recommend sorting this Then we tried to add another night and the host attempted to have us book away from booking.com and pay via phone, this left us uneasy so we decided to book an alternative venue for the following night, it was met with a rather short text message but hey ho. Check-in, so the slot is 3pm-6pm we assumed itd be later as people typically work then travel to the accommodation so we, only looked on the evening of our trip down (my bad). We texted the host and they put the key in a safe place for us. Arrival - you arrive to a very unwelcoming gate I'm sure for security but in the dead of night you just have to drive in and pray your at the right place and you won't be citizens arrested by an angry man with his guard dog. The yurt - it looks a little tacky but nicely presented, tried to carry everything in from the car and where the fake grass is covering the deck there are large holes between the slats proving fairly lethal to cross. We got in and it was a cold evening maybe 7/8 degrees.. no worries we'll pop the fire on... This was our first problem no wood in the yurt or in fact anywhere at all so we now have no heating and a 1yr old (1 that day as the trip is for her birthday) at 10pm at night on a Friday evening maybe an electric heater? No chance there's as the electricity is on a car battery. Luckily we wrapped her up and she stayed in the bed with us, this brings me onto the crib, inadequate doesn't really come close. The following morning, great sleep!

Great overnight stay but could have been the perfect break

Yurt was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. Accessibility was great and great location.

Unfortunately we had no power as battery for cooler box and lightning wasn't working ( although did have solar lights in evening) We were able to use cooling box in adjacent yurt as this was unoccupied but this wasn't ideal with 2 young children in tow and did put a bit of a spoiler on our stay. Would be happy to return if everything was up and running correctly as it could be an all round perfect stay.

disappointing

The yurt was clean

We arrived to discover the yurt had been double booked . When the host eventually turned up they just blamed Booking.com. We wasted two hours trying to sort this out. The other bookers decided to go home because they were not satisfied with the service. We had no induction pack or guidelines as to how anything worked. The electricity wasn’t working when we arrived and we had to insist on it being sorted out before we agreed to stay. The bathroom was listed as private but the shower was shared, the toilet had no handwashing facilities , the toilet and shower had no internal light, the camping stove didn’t work .

Gorgeous Yurt in the countryside

This is a fantastic yurt close to Chester but also in the middle of a lovely field so you feel relaxed and in the countryside. The yurt has comfortable beds (double bed and two x futons. Outside toilet and a great outside shower (both enclosed obviously). Friendly staff . There is a kettle, Little candle Lights and a fire pit as well as outside chairs. We loved it! Would recommend

Some coffee and tea bags would be good. Otherwise everything else was brilliant.

Yurt was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. Accessibility was great and great location.

Unfortunately we had no power as battery for cooler box and lightning wasn't working ( although did have solar lights in evening) We were able to use cooling box in adjacent yurt as this was unoccupied but this wasn't ideal with 2 young children in tow and did put a bit of a spoiler on our stay. Would be happy to return if everything was up and running correctly as it could be an all round perfect stay.
