The apartment was spacious and the AC worked perfectly. The bed, although it was a sofa-bed, was extremely comfortable. The owner and their parents were very nice and they answered to all our messages quickly and respectfully. The apartment was in a very quiet neighborhood and the distance to old town Petrovac and its beaches was steep but perfectly walkable (it takes like 8 minutes to reach the sea level but it’s worth it staying a bit further up and not in the middle of the noise)
Even though the place is published as ‘non smoking’ apartment, the smell of tobacco was unbearable (at least for us that are very sensitive to that aspect) We spent as little time in the apartment as possible, because it was very uncomfortable having that atmosphere around and going to bed with that odor wasn’t very agreeable to be honest 😞. We definitely didn’t feel like cooking or eating in. The owner apologized which we really do appreciate and informed that maybe the previous guests hadn’t followed the rules, but the smell was stuck to the walls as if people had been smoking in the apartment for ages.
