Excellent location, 5 mins walk from the tram line into Edinburgh. Easy check in, the cereal, soft drink and biscuits on arrival were appreciated. Nice decor and soft furnishings.
The free parking was a problem, the property is advertised as having free parking, however upon arrival we noticed a permit notice from a privately run company stating that permits were required and failure to show a permit would result in a fine of £100 per 24 hours (£60 if paid promptly.) We contacted the host who advised that parking was fine and that we could park outside the flat, however after talking to the neighbours who stated that a permit was required and seeing vehicles with permits and a car with a fine attached to the windscreen, we decided not to take the chance and parked elsewhere which was inconvenient and was an additional cost to us. The main reason we chose this property was because of the free parking.
The shower is a bit temperamental. Running extremely hot and then freezing. Not sure if its broken or a bit quirky.
Please provide some basic information about check in/out times, heating, wifi codes, bins, etc.

The house is in a great location and beautiful and clean inside.
We had issues with the shower, as it often switched to boiling hot then freezing cold.
