Unexpected issues forced us to rebook at 9pm at night. Else would have been a 7-8/10

Good location for ferry next day, good kitchen, nice lounge, isolated from city noise.

Unexpected plumbing issues meant a formal cancellation and hostel-hunting to sleep at 9pm. Easy enough cancellation at least...

Clean and nice home. Close to airport. However we have unfortunate event that washroom was not useable due to water clog. Host tried his best to get hold of someone to fix but couldn’t get it done. After discussion, host let us leave the house and promise to refund full amount.

Handy for the city, but let down by a damp smell, broken appliances, poor cleaning and an unhelpful

Good value for the price, and the location works well if you’re visiting the city. The host did reply to some of our queries over the weekend, which was helpful.

The apartment number in one of the messages didn’t match the actual unit, so we struggled to find the place on arrival. There are also steps on the way in and no lift, so suitcases have to be carried up. There was a noticeable damp smell as soon as we walked in. The tumble dryer was still running when we arrived and clearly hadn’t been cleaned — the towels came out covered in lint, which then spread through the whole apartment and we were cleaning it up all stay. The washing machine was showing an error and didn’t work at all. A couple of the hob burners don’t light. On the first day there was no water from the shower head, and the bath plug was so stiff we ended up filling a bucket from the tap to wash. The hot water also ran out. The host wasn’t willing to hold our luggage for a few extra hours after checkout, which was a shame.
