Het huisje ligt ideaal, dichtbij het station, in het centrum van Aix. Het huisje is in alles voorzien: koffie, koekjes, pleisters en zelfs tandenborstels! De gastvrouw was heel vlot bereikbaar en we mochten onze bagage daar laten staan tot onze trein vertrok.
De trap is erg steil.En de slaapkamer is wel warm, er is een ventilator boven en beneden is er airco. Omgekeerd zou ideaal zijn.

The location was super-right in the heart of the old village and few minute’s walk to the bus station. The farmers market and flea market were steps away, as were delicious patisseries and restaurants!
The apartment is thoughtfully decorated and there were many amenities that made the stay very enjoyable. A workable kitchen, a coffee maker, washer/dryer, toiletries, motion-sensor lighting, etc.
The air conditioner is on the main floor so the bedroom doesn’t really benefit from it much. The outside temperature was in the 86-94 degree range and the upstairs never really cooled down. It remained very warm, which made sleeping uncomfortable and sporadic.
However, there is a nice ceiling fan that saved us.
If it weren’t so hot outside, this wouldn’t be an issue.
Beware of the stairs. They were not a problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues or kids or the elderly would have a problem navigating them because they are incredibly narrow and steep. A precarious set up, for sure.
