The house may be old, but it has clearly been very well looked after. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
As for the amenities and equipment, what can I say? The house was fully equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need — it literally had it all! We were especially pleasantly surprised by the wine, the extra products in the fridge, the snacks, and all the little thoughtful touches.
Mrs. Vasso was one of the best hosts we have ever met! She was incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to do anything she could to make our stay more enjoyable. She even brought us ice cream, homemade chocolate pie, and galaktoboureko — such wonderful and unexpected treats!
The village itself is not touristy at all, but it has everything you need, including a mini market and a small local taverna. The main attractions and famous destinations are between 30 and 90 minutes away by car, which we already knew before our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Perhaps the only thing I would mention, although it did not cause us any problems during our stay, was the location of the house, right in the centre of the village, close to the church.
Also, since the garden is a shared/common area, we did not feel completely comfortable using it exclusively, even though we were absolutely free to use everything whenever we wanted — the whole garden, the BBQ, the tables, everything.
We simply didn’t want to feel like we were disturbing anyone.
Perhaps the combination of these two things slightly limited our sense of privacy.
This is really just a small observation that might be useful for improvement, rather than a negative review. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the house very much.

Μείναμε 6 μέρες σε αυτό το σπίτι και περάσαμε φανταστικές διακοπές!
Πρόκειται για μια πανέμορφη, αρχοντική διώροφη μονοκατοικία της δεκαετίας του '70 με εσωτερική σκάλα. Είναι πολύ καθαρή, εξοπλισμένη με όλες τις ανέσεις, έχει εξαιρετικά άνετα κρεβάτια, μια ωραία αυλή και ένα μεγάλο μπαλκόνι, ιδανικό για χαλάρωση. Στα θετικά είναι και το ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ.
Βρίσκεται στο Δαφνί, ένα πολύ ήσυχο χωριό της Λακωνίας. Η τοποθεσία του είναι πραγματικά στρατηγική, ανάμεσα σε Σπάρτη και Γύθειο, αποτελεί την ιδανική βάση για καθημερινές εξορμήσεις στον Μυστρά, τη Μονεμβασιά και ολόκληρη τη Μάνη.
Το μεγαλύτερο πλεονέκτημα όμως, είναι οι ίδιοι οι οικοδεσπότες. Άνθρωποι εξαιρετικά φιλόξενοι, ζεστοί και φιλικοί, που σε κάνουν να νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου από την πρώτη στιγμή.
Θα ξανάρθουμε σίγουρα και το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
