One of the area’s most remarkable events happens every spring, when thousands of ancient horseshoe crabs come ashore along the Delaware Bay during their annual spawning season. This incredible natural phenomenon attracts photographers, birdwatchers, and nature lovers from around the world as migratory shorebirds stop along the bay during their journey north.
