In general it is a warm place, feels like a home. They are newly opened and paying a lot of attention on every detail. Plov was delicious, Izat and his mother are really good people!
Portions of either breakfast or dinner were extremely small. One morning we were served a horse soup with wasn’t an appealing taste to start a day with , the other breakfast was just deep fried dough. Maybe this could be improved.

This place has a pleasant atmosphere and a homey feel. It's not a hotel, but a stay in a local house. The woman who looks after the house is very sweet and welcoming, but she doesn't speak English and doesn't understand how Booking.com handles that. Her son, Izad, handles that. Izad is available by phone and can help with any questions, he speaks English.
This is a new property, recently opened, and the owners are still gaining experience, so please be understanding.
Overall, the place is very nice. My husband and I had a wonderful time here and met some great people.

True kyrgyz experience, expect homestay hostel with a lady who doesn’t speak english, but very hospitable. Also Arshan, little kid, who had energy for playing all day. The owner speaks english, is very friendly and helpful, good guy to talk to. Also met very interresting other travellers there.

Good value compared to other options in karakol. We could use the washer for 200som per wash, but the washer is only a small 6.5kg one.
Bathrooms smelt super weird and shower/rooms were not the cleanest. The babushka who runs the place is nice enough but also lowkey scary. Felt like we were stepping on egg shells around the homestay.
Breakfast was simple (eg. Bread and jam or cheese), which we are completely fine with, but we were left pretty hungry due to there not being enough bread.
Babushka also tried to charge us extra for the room, then when we brought it up later with her son, she said that she’d given us the change but hadn’t. Her son was really helpful in translating this and trying to get us the correct change, but surely she couldn’t have just ‘forgotten’ the price when all the rooms are the same price? Anyway, we got everything sorted in the end, but just be mindful of this.
