Our stay in the one-bedroom pool villa was wonderful. Nestled in the tranquil Petulu jungle, it provided the perfect peaceful sanctuary away from the busy centre of Ubud.
The villa itself was stunning, spacious and immaculately clean, beautifully balancing authentic Balinese charm with modern comforts. The absolute highlight was the private pool area where we spent time swimming while looking out at lush, vibrant greenery. Inside the canopy bed was exceptionally comfortable.
What truly elevates this property is the hospitality. The staff are some of the warmest, most genuinely attentive people we have encountered. They anticipated our every need, greeted us by name and made us feel entirely at home. Dining was equally wonderful we particularly enjoyed having delicious fresh breakfast looking out to the stunning lush scenery.
While the resort is located slightly off the beaten track we considered this a plus as so peaceful and the hotel makes arranging any transport seamless. For anyone seeking a private, rejuvenating getaway in Bali I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. We are already dreaming of our return!

Если честно, нам понравилось абсолютно всё! Мы не заметили ни одного минуса. Персонал очень вежливый, внимательный и отзывчивый. Везде чисто, красиво и уютно — всё полностью соответствует своей цене. Местоположение тоже отличное. А для тех, кто любит спокойствие, тишину и комфорт, это действительно идеальное место. Остались очень довольны! 🤍

Es war ein unglaublich schöner Aufenthalt im 'The Compass Rose Valley's
Das Hotel ist noch Brand neu und alles top sauber und gepflegt!
Bei Ankunft erhielten wir ein Zimmer Upgrade in eine der Villen was einfach nur Traumhaft war.
Die Villen sind sehr groß mit super sauberem Badezimmer und eigenem Pool.
Das Kingsize Bett ist ein Traum genauso wie der Ausblick.
Auch habe ich an einer privaten inbegriffenen Yoga Stunde teilgenommen in der Hotel Shala.
Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück super umfangreich und man konnte aus 3 Karten wählen.
Das Abendessen war geschmacklich einfach grandios. Wir hatten beide die Ente was einfach die beste Wahl war!
Auch wird ein kostenloser shuttle nach und von Ubud angeboten.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Es gab nichts. Der Aufenthalt war perfekt!
Es ist vielleicht noch zu erwähnen dass Nebenan noch ein anderes Hotel gebaut wird, wobei die Bauarbeiten nur zwischen 11 und 17h stattfinden wo man sowieso unterwegs ist und es einen daher absolut gar nicht tangiert.
In unserer Villa haben wir davon aber auch tagsüber nichts gehört.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar.

The property is stunning, overlooking a valley with beautiful villas and pools and facilities. The hospitality was beyond excellent with Emik and Parmi being wonderful hosts going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, all the staff were so genuinely warm and friendly. We checked in late and they had thoughtfully prepared a sandwich for us, the breakfast every morning was delicious and fresh. We really enjoyed the massage at the spa and the sunset views are great. Honestly, loved our stay here - thank you Emik and Parmi :)
It’s a bit far, about 40 minutes to central Ubud and has a lot of stairs so it isn’t for people who have knee issues
