Breakfast not applicable. Location was good, five to ten minutes walk to the shops and beach. Train and buses very close.
The hallway was scruffy with what looked like days of post all over the bottom stairs. The windows on the stairwell were dirty with cobwebs. The entrance door to the flat wouldn't open due to the arm of the closing mechanism being broken and hitting the bedroom doorframe behind it. The ceiling lights dont have shades on them. No bedside lamps, so we had to buy some. The drawers in the twin room had bedding in them, leaving only one to use. The top drawer in the side table contained a clump of dark hair. The lamp in the lounge didn't work. The television didn't work properly. No mirror in the bathroom, and a permanent bad smell emanated, probably due to the drains. The surround on the bath was cracked. The rubbish bin in the kitchen was dirty and smelled. The wecome pack of drinks had the only two sachets of sugar stuck to the bottom of the bowl. The right hand window in the lounge wouldn't close fully, causing a draft.
