Vera, our host, was very friendly. Excellent location in a peaceful village. Good choice of ales. Interesting menu including Portuguese dishes. Very tasty breakfast. Good value.

We had a very enjoyable one night stay. The room (No 4) on the second floor was large, very clean and, comfortable . The lovely Portuguese hosts are very friendly and looked after us extremely well. The food is a mixture of home made Portuguese and English dishes and the quality is excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. The building is old and has a lot of character to it.

This was not an issue for us but to get to our room we needed to go up some quite steep narrow stairs. Therefore I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues.
